Détails du spot
Well guys, here is Spot #1600. I saw this 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder from a distance driving on the Merritt Parkway/CT-15 after leaving Stamford to go car-spotting in Greenwich. I immediately floored my Suzuki Forenza to catch up to it once I saw what it was. It got off at Exit 31 which leads to North Street. As I was trying to catch up to it, I broke the 30 mph speed limit on the offramp by going 60 instead. This lead to me spinning out and almost wrecking my car on the offramp. After a fun spin-out, I still put the pedal to the metal and caught up to it. It turned down some suburban neighborhoods where the owner eventually pulled over on Byfield Lane asking me what I was doing. I told him I absolutely loved his 918 and I wanted to take some pictures of it. He got out of the car and let me have a mini photoshoot with the car as he was very pleased I loved it so much. The owner also has a Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Gallardo Performante Spyder (1 of 3 with a manual transmission) and a Porsche 911 Singer 4.0 I still have yet to spot. We talked for a good while about cars and the 918. He showed me the interior in which he told me the one thing that separates this from other 918s was the stitching on the seats as that was a personal choice. After I was done, he gave me his email address and I sent the photos to him. This is the second 918 I have spotted so far on the road and I do know of two more in the area that I still have to spot. This one is #752 out of the total 918 built. Definitely one of my best spots of 2017! License plate: 1AT·UD2 (CT)
